How to take your training to a new level…
Dear Parent and students!
We are now accepting applications for the 2010 Demonstration Team! What this means for you is that you and your child will have the opportunity to be part of a small group of dedicated, like minded, motivated students.
Demo teams build high levels of confidence because students are taught how to perform in public. There’s an awesome rush that comes from performing for your community and getting accolades!
If your family is accepted to the team you will have the opportunity to further your training faster while developing your child’s leadership skills even more!
The goal is to have our demo team be a respected and well known part of the community!
Our demo team will go way beyond just martial arts training into the areas of community service and stewardship.
The Team will be coached by Master Strongheart and Master Wells. As well as a group of our hand selected black belts and assistant instructors.
This will be a truly valuable experience for your family than please take a second and fill out the application on the next page.
There is a commitment and a fee required to be part of the team. Try outs will be on Friday, January 15th at 5:15 pm. All applications are due by Monday, january 11, 2010. If accepted to the team your fees will be due on Friday, December 15 after the try out.

Don't forget next Monday is February 1, 2010 and we will be having Demo team practice. The practice will held at our current space not our new location.

Congratulations to all the members of the new 2010 Demonstration team. Team practices will be on Monday's at 5:45. attendance at two per month is manadatory. You may attend them all if you would like.

Aljoya; do a demo, and then meet and teach a sr how to break a board
MIMA: open house / grand reopening party
summer camp info day: (i think this one is Feb or March)bellevue, demo and help teach kids about respect/board breaking
Safety Day : "save a child's life day" spring
Summer celebration
Parade:
end of the year party for the Preschool Association ( we did that one last year)
people have been asking about it. so thought we would let you know. last years demo team everyone was so new that it took awhile to get people up to speed.
this year we have "veterans"
we are also goign to be working on public speaking with the demo team. they will learn how to give a presentation and teach others how to do an escape from fire. its a safety demo.
