Ben, one of our black belts has just completed an extraordinary leadership project!

He, and the team he recruited to help him, completed over187 hours of work in order to remove invasive plants from a 2.5 acre park, and laying board mulch down.

He solicited donations for the projects including 2000 obs of cardboard pallets, and 10.5 yards of mulch.

He also was able to mobilize around 30 others to complete the project, and emphasizes the incredible support from his folks!

Ben has studied martial arts here for about10 years. and he is a great example of the kind of hard working, socially conscious, leaders that our black belts are. Impressive work CGN! We are proud of your work.

this project is part of his training to become an Eagle Scout, and also for rank advancement here.

And bravo to the Lowe's company, Issaquah parks and rec, and the people at Pacific Topsoils for their donation of the supplies.
