Cardio Group

Let's get out there kick, punch, run, ride your bike. Whatever you do martial arts workout, skiing, run a marathon. Start small even 20 minutes a day at first will do it. Let's make a goal to get to 45 minutes of cardio 3 times per week in 2010.

Anyone Can Do This!

I know how it is! I went through a period that was exceptionally stressful and difficult. I didn’t workout like I had, and I slowly but surely got out of shape and gained a bunch of weight. In January 2009 I made a life changing decision---take care of myself, and get back into my workouts! Within 9 months I lost 50 pounds!! And regained my muscle tone, and built myself up emotionally! My energy is high again; I am feeling great about my life, and I am committed to helping others get this feeling for themselves!

I continued and kept my goals going through 2009 and I am currently working on my 2010 goals. When I initially "restarted" my workouts making it through 20 minutes of cardio was exceptionally difficult. With a little determination I was able to build myself back up again. Now I can run 7.5 (1 hour and 10 mins of cardio) miles a day, ride my bike 30 miles (2.5 hours of cardio), and do an intensive martial arts (45-60 mins). Let's do this thing in 2010; make ourselves in the best shape of our lives!

Ran 4 miles yesterday 2/14/10 couldn't get very far because it was raining "sheets" on me and I wasn't in the proper attire.

Week of Feb 7 - 13, 2010: had to listen to my body and ease off a little this week. TKD classes mon, wed, thurs.

I did a nice long 2 hour workout today. I have to remember that working out always makes me feel better it's the motivation to get up and go that is hard but once I'm finished I feel great. Keep up the great work everyone.
