Tolerance, and Peaceful Dissagreement

We strive to teach the students in our program to express themselves non-violently, and with respect.  We teach them to use their words.  To find common ground, even if that place is an agreement to disagree, and with respect, move on.   In fact, even in the face of aggressors we teach students to defend themselves verbally, set boundaries, deescalate and exit.

Info on sparring, the gear students need to wear, and a video about gear from a kids perspective.

Lets start with some very basic rules of tae kwon do Olympic style sparring.

An Awesome Alternative to Drugs: Martial Arts Practice As Treatment For Children With AD/HD

So what I did is post this article, with citation above, and after.  Such useful informaiton about the benefits of our training regarding AD/HD.   It is long, and well, a bit dry; however, just checking out the Abstract and conclusion is very informative.
