My 5 Living Heroes

My 5 Living Heroes:

  1. Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin Jr. is one of my living heroes. Despite being only 5 feet 9 inches tall, much shorter than most other players at his position, Doug played football at Stanford University, leading the team in receiving yards and touchdowns his senior year while also keeping a 3.5 GPA. Despite going undrafted in 2011, he was signed by the Seahawks as a free agent at the start of the season. While he went to two Super Bowls…

What kind of black belt I want to be

The kind of black belt I want to be is a black belt who helps others of any age, teaches the forms to younger kids and see their smiles. I want to be the black belt that people look up to. I want to be the kind of black belt who ties my families belt when they get a new belt. The reason why I want to be that kind of black belt is because of all the black belts that have helped me in during my training have really set a good example of what a black belt should be. I have always looked up to them… Continue

My goals upon reaching black belt

My goals upon having reached black belt is that I continue to keep on going for as long as I can. Become as good as I can possibly be in forms, in self defense, and much more. I would like to continue to learn new things in martial arts.

My 10 Heros

1. The reason that Alex Rublowsky is one of my 5 heroes is that 1 he is my dad, 2 he helps me a lot in school, 3 he makes very good food, 4 he works very hard, and 5 without him I would not be the same person I am today.

My dad has helped me a lot in school with my grammar and spelling so I could type this. I would not be on my way to black belt because he works very hard to pay the bills for everything I do . My dad has taught me and my sister many things in life.

Thank… Continue

What kind of black belt will I be?

After much thought and effort, I have molded myself (physically and mentally) into the leader I would follow. Years of Martial Arts and grade school have built me into a very respectful, energetic student and Martial Artist (qualities I believe you require when teacher those younger than yourself). Thus, that is the type of person you will be making a black belt. A respectful, grateful, and energetic one. Though, above all, I will be the person who makes parents say, "Wow! He's incredible! What… Continue

What are my goals after I get a black belt?

Upon reaching the level of black belt, I aspire to be an outstanding role model or the younger Martial Artists. I will also be as helpful as I am experienced. However, my ultimate goal is to be such a high quality leader that those who collaborate with me will feel inspired and confident in not only themselves, but also me.

What are my goals upon having reached my black belt for my future training and learning?

One of the Values of Martial Arts

There are many values to Martial Arts.  I learn something new every time I'm in class, but today I choose Confidence, not that it is something new but something I'd like to focus on right now.  Martial Arts not only requires focus on your body, but also of your mind and…

Gratitude Challenge

I have so many people in my life to be thankful for and I really should make a point to thank those that are so wonderful to me.  It is so difficult to choose one, but this individual popped into my mind because they are kind, loyal and someone who is definitely inspiring to me.  This person has helped me when I didn't know that I needed help.  She is not only a friend but also someone I admire.  I think I could, well…

Gratitude Challenge

November is all about giving thanks.  Thanks at Thanksgiving, thanks to our Veteran's, thanks to our families and friends. Every year we ask you to think about what it is that you are thankful for.  We will be doing this at our Veteran's Day Camp on November 11, but you don't have to be at the camp to participate and we encourage adults to participate as well:
